Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs Celebrate New Space at Open House

An Open House ceremony in September celebrated the new and improved space for the Office of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs in the Barone Campus Center.

The “Reflecting on Our Present, Looking Toward the Future” celebration included a blessing by Fr. Mark Scalese, S.J., reflections, staff introductions, and a welcome address from President Mark R. Nemec, PhD.

“We are eager to share our student-centered space with the campus community and our alumni, and talk about ways we can work together to maintain an inclusive, supportive and diverse space for our students to learn and grow,” stated Ophelie Rowe-Allen, EdD, associate dean of students and director of both Residence Life and Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs.
